Terms & Conditions of entry

Negroni competition



Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before entering the cocktail competition ("Competition"). By submitting your entry, you agree to be bound by these terms.

**1. Eligibility:**
- The Competition is open to legal residents of Alberta, Canada, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Employees, representatives, and affiliates of the Competition organizers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

**2. Entry Submission:**
- To enter the Competition, participants must be professional bartenders or mixologists and must create an original cocktail recipe.
- The entry must be submitted through the official entry form provided by the Competition organizers.
- The recipe should be well-written, including all necessary ingredients, measurements, preparation instructions, and any special techniques or garnishes used.

**3. Originality:**
- Each participant must ensure that their cocktail recipe is entirely original and does not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Plagiarism and the use of copyrighted material are strictly prohibited.

**4. Ingredients:**
- Participants are required to use commercially available and legal ingredients in their cocktail recipes.
- The use of any illegal or controlled substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.

**5. Judging Criteria:**
- Cocktails will be judged based on taste, creativity, presentation, and overall appeal.
- The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding in all aspects of the Competition.

**6. Winner Selection:**
- A panel of judges selected by the Competition organizers will evaluate all entries.
- One (1) winner will be chosen based on the judging criteria.
- The winner will be notified by email or phone within a reasonable time after the Competition's end date.

**7. Prize:**
- The winner will receive a prize package as specified by the Competition organizers.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

**8. Publicity Release:**
- By participating in the Competition, the winner agrees to allow the use of their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional purposes related to the Competition, without further compensation.

**9. Liability Release:**
- Participants release the Competition organizers and their affiliates from any liability arising out of or related to participation in the Competition or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

**10. Modifications and Cancellation:**
- The Competition organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the Competition at any time for any reason.
- If the Competition is canceled, no compensation will be provided to the participants.

**11. Compliance with Laws:**
- Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.

**12. Privacy:**
- Any personal information collected during the Competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Competition and will be subject to the Competition's Privacy Policy.

**13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:**
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada.
